You look at a description.
Run TavernQuest is a role-reversing twist on classic text adventure games.
You control the text parser and act as the game master. The "player" is actually an AI named STEVE, who always seems to type the stupidest commands.
The game plays like a choose your own adventure, except with hundreds of decision points and STEVE ruining everything.
You look at the history.
My name is Collin Eddings. Back in high school, I worked as a level designer on The Stanley Parable. In college, I thought it would be funny to enroll in an English class that analyzed The Stanley Parable as part of its curriculum.
Run TavernQuest started as an extra credit assignment for that class. Since then, it's been three years of on-and-off development, occasionally interrupted by silly things like moving to Kosovo for a while or getting married.
